The Heart Does Know Where It Belongs
New applications everyday! Now I'm wondering, why would any group of people want to keep track of me? Is it really for my safety or for your selfish reasons? I mean, do you know if it's what I want? To be tracked down every minute of my life? Which brings me to what I have to say on relationships.
Have you ever been so deep in love with someone that whenever they're away, it feels like a piece of you is missing? But then you know they'd always find their way back to you without having to track them down because the heart does know where it belongs.
"Don't worry about what's right in the eyes of the society, just go for what's real." I got that line from a movie and I totally agree with that. Everyone wants to be coach over your relationship. In one way or another, they're talking, trying to make you do it their way just because they feel it'd be successful, failing to realize that it's your life and your own happiness, not theirs.
If I had a dollar for every time someone gave me their opinion on my relationship, I would be set for life. Must it look right to you for it to feel right to me? And why focus on my business instead of yours? It takes two to tango and if those two love birds feel it's right and safe, who's anyone to ruin their happiness?
Probably, you never had a safe landing with anyone else and then you finally meet someone who ticks all the right boxes, and some busy bodies tell you he or she is not right for you or that you both shouldn't be together for some silly reasons?
Hear me, lovers! Listen to what your friends and family have to say, sure, but thank them for their opinion and continue living your life. At the end of the day, the heart knows what it wants. It doesn't need to be told what to do or tracked down or monitored.
Kudos! Lovely piece here.
