Some of our favourite Nollywood stars have reacted to the directive issued yesterday by the Honourable Commissioner for Health of Lagos State.
Recall that Professor Akin Abayomi urged all the stars who attended this year’s Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards ceremony in Lagos to self-isolate following report that one of the attendees has tested positive for coronavirus and may have exposed themselves to other celebrities or guests.
He further urged that the individuals observe strict self-isolation and contact health workers should they notice any coronavirus-related symptoms.
Now, Nollywood stars have taken to their pages to share how they have been holding up ever since this news broke.
See their reactions below:
Exactly! I’m telling everyone that we’ve been isolating and it’s day 10 since possible exposure. We are watching ourselves within the next 4 days as we continue to stay home. My phone is already filled with messages telling me i attended AMVCA. https://t.co/4afVbQq1hM

To all of us who attended the AMVCA – please let’s stay indoors. I’m begging you. Let’s be responsible. Edakun. Bubba and I have been indoors for a few days now but it’s imperative that we ALL adhere to the call to self isolate. Let’s not unknowingly put others at risk.

I’ve been doing the needful since it was announced last week that there was a suspected case at the #AMVCAs. Postponed my travel plans, cancelled all of my meetings and have been self-isolating ever since. It is well, God’s got us!Thanks for the concern. Stay safe, stay blessed
