While some of us are thinking about the dull weekend we are about to have with limited alcohol in our systems. Multi-talented TV personality Thando Thabethe has weighed in on the alcohol ban, that has been implemented by the government on the S.A nightlife in light of the epidemic of coronavirus.
This comes after Police Minister Bheki Cele said, there will be limited sales of alcohol in the country and that, all establishments who sell alcohol will stop at 6 pm. His announcement came after President Ramaphosa announced on Sunday that, gatherings of more than 100 people, will be prohibited to avoid spreading the deadly virus.
This has ruffled the feathers of many partygoers and people who generally consume alcohol. Thando Thabethe was seemingly one of those, as she asked what does alcohol has to do with coronavirus?
Sis is probably in that weekend mood and with restaurants and bars closing super early, she will have to self quarantine because ku rough!
Tweeps reacted to her tweet with mixed emotions some hailed the government restrictions whilst some defended their alcohol tendencies.
